# Instructional Para Professional Durand Inc, School - Woodbury, NJ 08096## Overview Salary Range $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education  Level High School/GEDTravel Percentage None Category Education ## Description Under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher, the Teaching Assistant helps with the overall operation of the classroom.
** Responsibilities:
** 1. Assists with individual and group instruction.  Implements all instructional goals upon certified staffs’ instruction, utilizing the appropriate teaching technique (i.e. DTT, IT) and prompting procedure.
2. Follows classroom, special area, and related services schedules and procedures as established by teacher.
3. Assists students in all daily living skills.
4. Follows behavioral support plan including antecedent modification, reinforcement, and crisis intervention when needed.
5. Collects academic and behavioral data correctly and consistently.
6. Actively participates in classroom meetings and professional development opportunities.
7. Maintains confidentiality of student information.
8. Follows school policies, procedures, and protocols.
9. Maintains professional appearance and conduct whenever in a position representing Durand Inc.
10. Works as a team member using a multidisciplinary methodology
11. Cooperates with staff from DOE and Durand internal personnel in any inspections, inquiry, or investigations.
12. Performs other responsibilities as assigned by school leadership.## Qualifications##

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalency
2. Minimum of 60 college credits preferred
3. Substitute certification preferred.
4. Previous experience in working with children and/or children with special needs
