Join our team as a Licensed Optician in Deptford, NJ. This full‑time position combines exceptional customer service with advanced optical dispensing to deliver superior eye care.

• Welcome all customers and set clear expectations.
• Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen within the store.
• Take and record measurements; accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail.
• Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use dispensing technology efficiently despite time pressure and high volume, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
• Proactively identify root causes of issues, think forward, and ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
• Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain store appearance by keeping areas clean, attractive, and organized.
• Report safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and pursue continual learning and improvement.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and inventory management, including discounts and promotions.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure as an optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer‑service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Selling skills and the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

• Previous customer service and retail experience.

Pay Range: $27.47 – $36.68 per hour. Employees may be eligible for bonuses or commission plans and receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health care, retirement savings, paid time off, and employee discounts.
