Heavy Engine Automotive Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, ensuring timely completion while upholding quality standards.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Perform regular inspections to identify faults and potential problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional repairs and completion estimates.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Participate in training sessions to stay up-to-date on new technologies and equipment.
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
- Proficiency in B‑level diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
- Dexterity and steady hand with excellent hand‑eye coordination.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Positive, friendly attitude with an eagerness to improve.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
