Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice at Great Expressions Dental Centers as a Traveling Orthodontics Dental Assistant. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to provide exceptional patient care and support our dental team in a fast‑paced environment.

• Assist the dental team in delivering high‑quality patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Educate patients on proper oral‑hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care.
• Support dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.

• 2–3 years of dental assisting experience or relevant education (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant.
• Ability to travel to our Dearborn office.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proficiency with dental software and technology is a plus.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
• Florida:
  Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X‑rays, BORID certification, and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
• Michigan: upon hiring you must provide X‑ray training certification; an 8‑week period is granted if not yet obtained.
• New Jersey: proof of X‑ray training.
• New York: not applicable.
• Ohio: proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit).
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners certification.
