The City of Woodinville is hiring a GIS Technician to be part of the Administrative Services Department’s Information Services (IS) Division. The IS Division is responsible for overseeing the City’s Information Services and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) operations to ensure alignment with the City’s daily operations and long‑term initiatives.
The GIS Technician will have the opportunity to gain experience through hands‑on tasks, project‑based activities, and occasional field work. Working closely with the GIS Analyst and the IS Manager, this position supports the development of interactive web maps and applications, creates and maintains digital and paper maps, helps improve geodatabase organization, and performs data creation, maintenance, and analysis using a variety of software applications.
This position will conduct related research to support modern GIS best practices.
