Truck and Transfer Driver; Class A CDL

• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections and complete the driver’s checklist in Fleetio.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment safely with assistance when required, ensuring items are not overweight and are properly stowed.
• Operate safely under all conditions, following the “4‑second rule” and using spotters as needed.
• Identify mechanical issues with engines, brakes, and electrical systems, reporting maintenance needs and shutting down equipment when necessary.
• Transport material to job sites and plants, using GPS for efficient routing.
• Dump gravel and perform other general labor duties as directed.
• Maintain a clean truck, include trailer washes, and practice good housekeeping.
• Fuel truck each night and adhere to all safety rules and PPE requirements.

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Proficiency with GPS navigation devices.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements and traffic regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
