Job Summary
Performs various front office and back office patient care duties. This position assists with the flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and performs preparatory work to ensure efficient use of the physician’s time.

Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare exam room for the physician, take and record vital signs and medical history, prepare patients for exam, perform EKG, answer and triage telephone calls, update medical record with lab and procedure results.
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
- Obtain medication pre‑authorization.
- Triage telephone calls.
- Call patients with lab results and physician instructions – and record in medical record.
- Schedule appointments for patients.
- Chart preparation prior to patient visit.
- Explain treatments and physician instructions to patients.
Fluent in English and Spanish is required. This position may require work in more than one location.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Graduate (or equivalent).
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years full‑time experience in a related field required.
Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. Eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $16.50.
