Production Crew - Producer

This workshop teaches the responsibilities and duties of the Producer, who is in charge of taking the production concept through all pre-production preparations, including the arrangement and scheduling of all resources such as studio and equipment, requesting a production crew, contacting and coordinating with talent, writing a production script, and meeting pre-production with the Director to provide all needed information and scripting to the Director and to answer any questions.

Because the Producer needs to have a good understanding of the crew heirarchy and procedures, the Producer is required to take at least two of the four basic production workshops prior to taking this workshop. The Producer must be prepared to turn over all elements of the production to the Director when the pre-production meeting takes place.

This workshop lasts about an hour to an hour and a half.
