Are you passionate about supporting adults with developmental disabilities and making a difference in their lives? Harmony Day Program is now hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals M-F 8-4PM to join our vibrant team in Woodland, CA.
About Harmony Day ProgramHarmony Day Program is a one-of-a-kind facility in Woodland, designed specifically for individuals with developmental disabilities, including those who are medically fragile. Our program features sensory stimulation rooms, media spaces, specially adapted computers, games, and activity stations tailored to enrich the lives of our clients.
With a client-centered approach, Harmony Day Program was built around the unique needs of our participants, ensuring every activity fosters growth, independence, and joy.
Position OverviewAs a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide hands‑on assistance to our clients in a supportive and engaging day program environment. Working part‑time from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, you'll help create meaningful experiences that empower individuals to reach their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
- Facilitate and engage in sensory, recreational, and skill‑building activities.
- Provide care and support tailored to the needs of medically fragile individuals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure clients' safety, comfort, and enjoyment.
- Maintain a clean and organized activity space.
- Compassionate and dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience in caregiving or working with adults with disabilities is a plus but not required.
- Reliable, patient, and team‑oriented.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Work in a purpose‑driven, supportive environment.
