• Vision and Leadership:
  Discern and clarify God’s vision for the future of GGAC; communicate the vision in a compelling way; guide and mentor pastoral staff and ministry leaders; oversee strategic planning and implementation of church-wide initiatives.
• Preaching and Teaching:
  Serve as the primary preacher; prepare sermons with prayer; deliver biblical truths with clarity and practical application; demonstrate a deep understanding of Scripture; equip and empower lay leaders to teach and share God’s Word.
• Leadership Development:
  Identify, mentor, and train emerging leaders; create and manage a leadership development program; foster a Christ-centered culture of unity, love, and service.
• Shepherding and Care:
  Relate well to all age groups and cultures; provide pastoral care, biblical counseling, prayer, and support during times of crisis, grief, and celebration; oversee care systems to ensure members feel known, valued, and supported.
• Personal Spiritual Discipline:
  Model a life of prayer and spiritual discipline; encourage personal growth in Christ.

• A clear calling from God to pastoral ministry.
• Ordained or eligible for ordination with the Christian and Missionary Alliance

• Proficiency in both Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) and English.
• A deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, with a life that reflects spiritual maturity and integrity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A passion for evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach.
• Agreement with the church’s statement of faith and theological position.
