Costing Analyst Manufacturing

Job Description

• BOM Review :Review and validate BOMs for accuracy and completeness before release.
• Product Costing
  :
  Develop and maintain accurate product cost structures, including material, labor, and overhead components
• Standard Cost Management
  :
  Establish and update standard costs, conduct variance analysis, and investigate cost deviations
• Manufacturing Cost Analysis
  :
  Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and factory overhead
• Variance Analysis
  :
  Investigate and explain material, labor, and overhead variances, providing actionable recommendations
• Inventory :Manage Inventoryclosing andstock take processes
• Cost Reporting
  :
  Prepare detailed cost reports, dashboards, and analysis for management review and decision-making
• Process Improvement
  :
  Identify opportunities to improve cost accounting processes and systems efficiency
• Regulatory Compliance
  :
  Ensure cost accounting practices comply with Accounting Standards and internal controls
• Cross-functional Collaboration
  :
  Work with operations and Plant Managers to facilitate the periodic update of the standard costs in the bill of materials on cost-related initiatives

Requirements:

• Possess a Certificate or Diploma in Accountancy, or a related equivalent qualification.
• Preferably with 1 to2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and supply chain management
• Preferably with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management Experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to communicate effectively with different level of people and strong in organizational and planning skills
• Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, collaborative team player with leadership potential
• Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic environment
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
