Guidance Officer Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students under detention, in-house suspension and reintegration programmes.
• Conduct studentpatrols during arrival, recess and dismissal, and promote positive behaviourthrough restorative practices.
• Assist with minorincident investigations, interviews, evidence gathering and report preparation.
• Engage, mentorand provide social-emotional support to identified students.
• Develop and conduct targeted SEL activities and provide in-class student support where required.
• Maintain student discipline records, case notes, statistics and intervention updates.
• Liaise with teachers and school staff to support student development and learningcontinuity.
• Assist with reviewing student management processes and perform other duties assigned by theschool.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information.

• Preferably three (3) years of direct experience working with children / youths at-risk. This includes supporting students with behavioural, emotional, or learning needs through targeted interventions, mentoring, or developmental programmes

• A degree in a relevant field from arecognised institution (e.g., National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University), preferably in Social Work, or Counselling,Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child or Adolescent Development or equivalentetc.
