Technical Sales Engineer; Precision Manufacturing

Job Summary

Manage and grow customer accounts across Singapore and Malaysia by leveraging technical knowledge and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and customer satisfaction in a precision manufacturing environment.

• Manage and expand existing customer accounts in Singapore and Malaysia to increase revenue and deepen client relationships
• Analyze mechanical drawings to support accurate communication and coordination with engineering and production teams
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to contribute to company growth
• Collaborate with management to support the development of new customers and market segments
• Participate in sales visits, presentations, and discussions to effectively represent the company and influence customer decisions
• Monitor order status and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements
• Address customer feedback, resolve issues, and provide basic technical clarifications to maintain high service standards
• Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and account updates to inform management decision-making
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management to support business operations

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in sales or engineering within a precision manufacturing environment
• Basic ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, with GD&T knowledge considered an advantage
• Experience engaging with customers in Singapore and/or Malaysia
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build customer trust and facilitate collaboration
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service excellence
• Basic commercial and negotiation skills to support sales activities
• Willingness to travel within Singapore and Malaysia as required
