The Process Engineer will be based at our semiconductor client's premises, to oversee daily operations for Total Gas Management Systems. You will ensure the reliability of bulk, carrier, and cylinder gas supplies across multiple plants, upholding rigorous safety, quality, and Industrial Management System standards to achieve sustainable operational excellence.
- Manage daily site operations to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and supply reliability across multiple plants.
- Execute the plant maintenance regime, ensuring all equipment service is completed on schedule to maximize availability.
- Coordinate monthly maintenance schedules and provide technical justifications for any necessary deviations or delays.
- Conduct quarterly quality audits of maintenance work performed by external vendors and internal reliability teams.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for site incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) across relevant locations.
- Drive a proactive safety culture by encouraging near‑miss reporting and performing regular behavioral safety visits.
- Enforce Management of Change (MOC) and Safe Work Permit requirements, including rigorous review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Monitor quality control equipment uptime and execute "Out of Control" action plans to address any process deviations.
- Manage site expenditures within the OPEX budget and identify requirements for CAPEX‑funded improvements to the Facility Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Possesses the foundational understanding of process unit operations, specifically regarding gas delivery systems will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Industrial Management Systems (IMS) and standard safety/quality compliance frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead daily handover meetings and coordinate with the client’s facility team.
- High level of adaptability to fast‑paced semiconductor plant environments and a proactive, continuous‑learning mindset.
- Open to both experienced professionals and motivated fresh graduates eager to develop in the industrial gases sector.
