Science Laboratory Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for practical learning activities, including preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment.
• Assist with the upkeep of designated outdoor learning areas, including basic plant care, maintenance and related equipment.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards for work areas and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management, stock checks, ordering, deliveries, invoices and basic record-keeping.
• Carry out basic maintenance and simple repairs of equipment and learning materials where required.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

• Minimum O-Level qualification or relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of workplace and equipment safety.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with different groups of people.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Practical and hands‑on approach with basic repair and maintenance skills.
• Knowledge or experience in plant care and maintenance is an advantage.
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently.

Duration/

Working Hours:

12 months contract (Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

Mon to Friday:
7.30 am to 5.00 pm

Lunch break:60 mins
