Senior ServiceNow Architect​/Developer Featured Woodlawn, MD

Responsibilities

• Full stack development or developing automated solutions.
• Develop and execute Service Now roadmaps as defined and approved by the client(s).
• Lead team members in configuring and maintaining the platform with performance optimization.
• Create and present implementation plans that are reviewed and approved by program leadership and the client.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports that keep program leadership and the client apprised of technical progress, potential risks with documented mitigations, and issue resolution plans and status.
• Represent Leidos as the technical face of the company with partner teams and the client.
• Work with cross-functional team in an agile and fast-paced development environment to define user stories and tasks.
• Integrations and REST API automation
• Automated testing using tools such as Service Now ATF
• Attend all customer technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance code quality/process.
• Provide guidance/support to other junior/mid-level developers.
• Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position customer competitively in the marketplace with best practices.
• All other duties as assigned or directed.gement to support IT infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Master's or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.
• Experience with multiple Service Now product implementations and development.
• Experience in scripting on the Service Now platform.
• Experience on Service Now platform support and administration.
• Proficiency with various features and functionalities of the Service Now platform.
• Thought leader for design and implementation of new solutions involving Service Now products like BIA, SAM, CM.
• Experience working in Agile Practices (e.g. SAFE, Scrum).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• This is a hybrid work schedule, 3 days remote with 2 day onsite per week.
• Must have one of the following certifications:
  • Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • IT Operations Management (ITOM)

• Experience working in a PaaS/SaaS environment
• SME across Service Now products from design, implementation, testing and operations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult including providing options with pros, cons and risks around key technical decisions during design and implementation
• Strong organizational skills and understanding of the Project Management lifecycle
• Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts and isn't afraid to volunteer in a dynamic work environment
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities
