Join the Center for Program Integrity as an IT Program Manager (Data Management) building the data systems that detect fraud, waste, and abuse across Medicare and Medicaid. At CMS, you'll apply advanced tools like Snowflake, Python, and AI to analyze complex healthcare data and protect taxpayer dollars for programs serving 150+ million Americans.

We're looking for an IT Program Manager to provide technical expertise in analyzing options and developing designs for data systems, software, and complex programming specifications.

• Conduct development, implementation, and administration of systems for data acquisition, storage, and retrieval using Snowflake, Python, Business Objects, and JSON
• Apply techniques for dealing with imperfect data, such as probabilistic matching and imputation of missing values, using SAS, SQL, or other query languages
• Provide technical advice on pilot initiatives and applications, including AI and advanced software for analyses and statistical reporting
• Translate complex concepts and findings into concise, plain language for a wide audience
• Recommend improvements to upstream processes to improve data quality

• Experience using statistical software or programming languages (SAS, SQL, R, Python) to analyze data and create visualizations
• Background applying system analysis or testing methods to support development of IT solutions
• Experience combining multiple datasets and checking results for accuracy using statistical methods
• Experience writing reports or giving presentations explaining technical findings to non-technical audiences
