Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

- Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
- Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
- Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
- Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience
- Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs; assist with application or sign-up as needed
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet
- Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; guide guests to enroll, activate and use these features
- Assist with returns following store policy; collaborate with Leaders as needed
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; collect unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
- Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for the guest
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
- Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, and DU returns; ensure compliance with laws as applicable
- All other duties based on business needs
