• Team and Project Management: manages application engineers, assigns projects, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently.
• Technical Leadership: provides technical guidance, mentorship, and training to the sales engineering team; develops and delivers technical product presentations used to engage customers and prospects and educate sales teams; stays updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices; works with sales managers to develop account strategies, identify opportunities, and support closing deals; interacts with customers’ technical teams for support; travels to customers as needed;
  
  analyzes customers’ technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources; reviews sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Performance Management: conducts performance evaluations and helps team members develop their skills and reach their potential.
• Customer and Product Support: ensures the team provides excellent technical support to customers and that products are aligned with customer needs and industry standards.
• Technical Support: uses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements; leads the design and development of complex application features and functionalities; translates technical specifications into code, including writing programs, testing, and debugging; performs system analysis, architecture design, and integration with other systems; troubleshoots complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.

• 5+ years of professional experience within a manufacturing or industrial equipment-based setting.
• Strong technical background within hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including hydraulic cylinders, industrial and mobile valves, piston pumps, motors, and related components.
• 2+ years of management/leadership experience in a customer interfacing setting.
• Ability to support engineered-to-order or configurable products in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Ability to analyze customers’ technical requirements and translate them into viable product configurations and application solutions.
• Experience working closely with sales teams to support customer engagement, solution development, technical presentations, and proposal reviews.
