- Oversee daily banking activities and tax compliance for multiple taxing states and jurisdictions.
- Responsible for maintaining current knowledge base for laws pertaining to Federal and State taxes to appropriately perform job functions.
- Responsible for assisting outside tax advisors with preparation of year-end tax reporting.
- Complete and submit other permits and licenses. Oversee compliance with local and state licensing agencies.
- Report litigation for claims covered by insurance and with direction from senior management.
- Summarize company requirements and track/ calculate State and Local Tax Incentive Agreements.
- Responsible for the overall management of certificate of insurance maintenance.
- Manage, train and develop direct reports to enhance their career development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Insurance and/or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience with Multi-State and Federal taxes, multi-state business insurance, and contract administration.
- Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and ethical standards in all Company dealings on a daily basis and ability to foster strong, open lines of communication across all levels of the organization.
- Expertise and understanding of GAAP, Internal Revenue Code, and state tax compliance.
- Supervisory experience.
- CPA certification and tax experience.
