We're excited to announce a newly added position for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our tenured nursing leadership team at Wynscape Skilling Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Wyndemere, a 5-star rated, 56-bed Health Center within our beautiful senior living campus.
This role reports directly to the Director of Nursing and works closely with our ADON/MDS Coordinator. We're seeking a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, team development, and maintaining excellence in nursing standards.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Every other weekend on-call required

- Provide leadership, supervision, and support for the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Oversee key clinical programs, including Infection Prevention, Wound Management, and Accident/Incident review.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure a safe, clean, and compassionate environment for residents.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of all medical records and care documentation.
- Assist with scheduling, orientation, and staff development across all nursing shifts.
- Participate in resident and family communications to promote trust and satisfaction.
- Serve as acting Director of Nursing when needed.
- Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed in the State of Illinois
- CPR certification required
- 2 years of experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing with strong clinical leadership skills
- Proficiency in Infection Prevention, Wound Management, and clinical program oversight preferred.
- Infection Preventionist Certification and Wound Care Certification are a plus.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. xrlwcon
