Boiler Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in boiler equipment.
• Install new boiler systems and related components according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct pressure tests and other evaluations to ensure the integrity of boiler systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain service procedures and recommendations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC or related field preferred.
• Valid HVAC, boiler, or similar license/certification.
• Proven experience as a boiler technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to boiler operation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to [insert weight]) and work in confined spaces.
