The Midwest's largest fireplace and BBQ grill distributor is looking for a new warehouse team member to keep up with its growth.

Warehouse associate responsibilities include: storing inventory in the correct physical location in the warehouse, accurately picking orders, preparing orders for shipment, and various other duties as assigned.

Starting at $18.00+ per hour based on experience, Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt.

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
• Receive and stock incoming shipments in a timely manner.
• Operate and inspect warehouse equipment (Fork Lift, Pallet Jack, etc.).
• Resolve inventory discrepancies through research and physical counts.
• Act professionally and remain focused while working.
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment.
• Follow directions of leadership.
• Perform cleaning activities as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changes.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

In performing the job of Warehouse Associate, one must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. The position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand‑eye coordination, near vision, far vision, and hearing are required for the operation of forklifts and other warehouse machinery.

The job will be performed entirely in the F&C Distributors, Inc. warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday

Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Required)
