Electrical Consultants, Inc. • Conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines.
• Material procurement and construction support through line energization.
• Direct a project team in the development of design calculations, detailed drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
• Create project scope documents, engineering design of structures and foundations, loading and framing calculations.
• Develop sag charts, staking sheets, and construction exhibits.
• Produce material and construction specifications.
• Perform other design tasks as needed, and assist the Project Manager with project quality assurance and oversight of design personnel.

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of project and design engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, planning, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy, and ability to meet fast‑paced project schedules.
• Proficient with transmission engineering principals, applicable codes, standards, and design tools.
• Basic project management execution skills and ability to direct design personnel on a project team.
• Advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principals (preferred).
• PE license preferred.
• Willingness to perform occasional travel/driving; subject to client‑mandated drug and background checking; subject to company auto insurance carrier requirements.
