Join to apply for the Sales Account Executive role at Ore Designs, Inc.
ORE is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our team. This is a dynamic position that combines the art of sales with the discipline of project management. You'll be responsible for the full sales life cycle, from prospecting and relationship‑building, including driving product specification, to pre‑booking project coordination and providing solution‑based selling for ORE's products.
The Sales Account Executive develops relationships with our top‑tier client base while providing consistent and exceptional customer support. In this role you will be traveling as needed (~25%) to an assigned territory to represent ORE, and to present ORE products and solutions to architects, landscape architects, general contractors, installers and others. Candidates must have a minimum of 7‑10 years of sales experience selling to similar clients.
The Sales Account Executive will work with all clients (internal customers and external) through the Bid‑Build/Design Build process until the deal is won. After booking our clients’ projects, this position will work closely with an ORE project manager to hand off critical project details while maintaining awareness of the clients’ project throughout the design & fabrication process.
Qualifications & Skills- Must have a minimum of 7‑10 years of sales experience in roles similar to commercial construction working with architects, landscape architects, general contractors, and installers.
- Experience must include working within a proposal generation, bid‑build/design build and/or construction environment with preference given to those with Landscape Architecture experience.
- Must have command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and familiarity with Adobe. Preference given to those with CRM/ERP experience such as Net Suite.
- Must be a Team player. ORE is very much a team environment, and this person must be able to thrive in a cross functional team organization and add value. Demonstrated experience performing in a cross‑functional weak‑matrix is a must.
- You will thrive if you can have technical conversations and communicate complex solutions to customers. This requires exceptional communication skills, a curiosity that drives continuous learning, and the ability to apply that solution‑focused knowledge to a project management framework as it relates to Architects, Landscape Architects, General Contractors, and Installers.
- Must have the ability and/or demonstrated experience managing existing and long‑standing client relationships to develop and build our existing base, prospect for new clients, and build business based on ORE’s past performance and reputation of providing helpful solutions to the industry’s Landscape Architectural challenges.
- Ability to understand architectural plans and specs and be able to follow up with architects, designers, general contractors, and landscape installers to define scope, offer solutions, and think strategically with closing the deal in mind.
- Resourceful: Able to think critically about problems to find the best solution. Also, have the awareness to know when outside help is needed.
- Organized: Juggling multiple responsibilities, deadlines, and communications that vary daily. From email to project stages, and CRM/ERP, it’s imperative to be well organized with an acute attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial: Always looking for ways to help grow the organization. Realize that team success relies on proactively building relationships and looking for opportunities.
- Collaborative: We are a communicative and collaborative group that works together to better ourselves and those around us. Transparency with our internal team helps everyone perform their best. You will collaborate with clients by conducting scope reviews with clients to understand their requirements, set and work within project schedules, and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the sales and construction life cycle.
- Work with prospective customers to discover their “points of pain” and develop solutions.
- Identify customer needs and utilize solution‑based selling techniques…
