The Transport Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring fuel deliveries are timely, compliant, and optimized, directly supporting store operations across the region. This role requires strong communication skills, sharp judgment, and the ability to manage complex logistics in a fast‑paced environment.

This role directly impacts safe, reliable, and efficient fuel delivery to our stores across the region by helping us keep our operations running smoothly and our guests fueled for their own adventures.

Location: Woods Cross, UT
Schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Days Off: Thursday & Friday
Shift: Four 12‑hour shifts with two days off.

The Transport Dispatcher manages daily load planning and dispatch coordination to ensure fuel deliveries meet operational needs while maintaining compliance and efficiency. The role serves as the communication hub between drivers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.

• Prepare, monitor, and manage petroleum transport and load planning for an assigned region.
• Enter and maintain supply directives within the Gravitate dispatch system.
• Develop and adjust daily load plans in response to demand changes, supply constraints, weather, road conditions, and personnel updates.
• Ensure all trucks are loaded to maximum legal capacity while maintaining compliance with Hours of Service and DOT regulations.
• Verify all DOT documentation—permits and registrations—remains accurate and up to date.
• Assist in managing supplier and carrier relationships to support strong service performance and communication.
• Complete additional responsibilities as needed to support business operations.

• 3+ years of dispatching experience with proven ability to support a high‑volume or complex logistics environment.
• Strong working knowledge of dispatch systems, transportation planning, or logistics workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort navigating multiple systems/screens.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong listening abilities.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight, making confident decisions in fast‑paced situations.
• Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
• High self‑awareness and understanding of personal strengths and how they influence performance.

• Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Previous experience working with fuel transport, DOT compliance, or commercial dispatch systems.
• Familiarity with TMW or Gravitate dispatching software.

Pay Range: $70,000‑$80,000 + DOE + Bonus Opportunities. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
