As a Safety Professional, you'll support Barton Malow's mission to prioritize safety on construction sites, working closely with project teams to facilitate compliance with safety standards. This role involves leading safety meetings, onboarding new hires, and ensuring safety records are meticulously maintained. With your advanced understanding of safety regulations and strong leadership skills, you'll be instrumental in mitigating risks and enhancing site safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach employees to foster a safety-focused culture
• Lead site safety and training meetings
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
• Resolve safety concerns and implement corrective actions
• Document and report safety incidents accurately
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of safety experience in construction
• Safety certifications preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills for detailed documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
