In your role as a Tooling Engineer, you will play a essential part in the production process by working with customers and developing efficient tooling solutions. This includes reviewing CAD specifications, providing DFM feedback, and managing tooling projects through all phases. Experience in automotive tooling and strong communication skills will enable you to lead projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review CAD data and assess tooling requirements
• Oversee tooling design and modifications for manufacturability
• Lead projects from design through to trials and launch
• Manage timelines and costs for tooling projects
• Support teams in troubleshooting tooling-related issues
Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ experience in tooling engineering
• Relevant degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Preferred experience in the automotive sector
• Solid understanding of mold construction standards
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
