Join General Motors as a 1st Class Chief Engineer in Ingersoll, Ontario. Lead plant utility operations, ensure safety compliance, and drive effective maintenance strategies daily.
This onsite role requires a dedicated individual to oversee powerhouse operations and lead facilities personnel. You will coordinate daily reviews, address operational challenges, and implement improvements. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead powerhouse and utilities operations for compliance and safety
• Oversee maintenance activities and manage work order prioritization
• Conduct daily operating reviews and safety meetings
• Coordinate training, overtime planning, and team direction
• Implement operational improvements to boost reliability
Requirements:
• Valid 1st Class Chief Engineer certification required
• Strong background in maintenance and operations
• Proficient in MAXIMO, SAP, and Microsoft Office
• Experience in industrial settings or automotive manufacturing
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
