Become a Materials Engineer at OSCO Construction Group, focusing on high-performance concrete mix designs. Collaborate with various departments to ensure optimal structural integrity and appearance of precast concrete products.
This full-time position requires expertise in concrete mix design and hands-on leadership skills. You will monitor and optimize mixes for specialty applications while addressing quality control and production needs. A detail-oriented approach is vital in this multi-project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and troubleshoot concrete mixtures for precast products
• Support ready mix product optimization and design
• Review specifications before bid submissions
• Manage testing of materials both in the field and lab
• Develop procedures for restoring defective precast products
Requirements:
• At least five years in practical engineering experience
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering emphasizing concrete
• Knowledge of relevant CSA, ASTM, MTO standards
• Desired testing certifications in concrete
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
