Civil Engineering Technologist in Office

Join a team of professionals as a Civil Engineering Technologist, working full-time in-office. Support civil project planning and construction through technical drawing preparation and site inspections.

This permanent full-time role involves conducting surveys, inspecting construction work, and ensuring quality standards for various civil projects. You will collaborate closely with Engineers and contractors, preparing technical documents and reports to maintain project integrity. Your expertise will help optimize workflows and maintain project timelines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and supervise field surveys and technical investigations

• Monitor and inspect facility construction projects thoroughly

• Provide technical support in construction phases with Engineers

• Prepare contract documents, quotes, and administrative paperwork

• Conduct field reviews and produce comprehensive site reports

Requirements:

• College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field

• Experience with surveys and construction layout techniques

• Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Understanding of Ontario Building Code regulations
