TDMH Pharmacy Technician - Summer Relief
Location: Tillsonburg
Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Summer Relief Pharmacy Technician position for the Pharmacy Department.
The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
Position to be effective approximately May 1, 2026, until no later than September 8, 2026, or sooner as determined by RRHS.
Position Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist by performing tasks of a technical nature. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for the technical aspects of dispensing medications at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital and Alexandra Hospital.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Pharmacy Technician Program in Ontario or equivalent education program, recognized by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
- Available for all shifts as required
- Valid Ontario driver's license
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis and be available to work all shifts.
- Demonstrated commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality
- Is knowledgeable of the roles of other team members and recognizes their contributions
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude that demonstrates TDMH's values
Other pertinent conditions:.
- Salary per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement ($33.24 per hour)
