Responsibilities:

Develop calibration schedule for all instruments, gauges and testing devices

Develop calibration procedures for all instruments, gauges and testing devices to be calibrated in-house

Set-up and verify calibrations for all instruments, gauges and testing devices calibrated by an outside company

Ensure instruments, gauges and testing devices are calibrated correctly

Verify accuracy of instruments, gauges and testing devices using master gauges and make adjustments as necessary

Perform corrective maintenance on instruments, gauges and testing devices as required

Order replacement parts for faulty instruments, gauges and testing devices

Inspect instruments, gauges and testing devices for fit of moving parts and mechanical functioning

Train operators to perform quality checks when required

Maintain master samples as per required procedure

Maintain records of calibration and repair for all instruments, gauges and testing devices

Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics

All other relevant duties

Key Requirements:

Grade 12, GED, or equivalent

3 years' experience with stamping, welding and assembly processes

Computer efficiency skills in all required areas
