Maintenance Planner – Vuteq Canada

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team!
Responsible for making tools and parts are available to complete work orders, and scheduling updating and maintenance in such a way that it minimizes equipment downtime. Additional responsible for maintaining the computerized maintenance management system and generating reports on machines/equipment to justify additional preventive maintenance or justify a machine end of life.

Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority levelSchedule contractors for PM’s/Repairs as necessaryManage spare parts and alignment between the maintenance department and stock roomManage work orders, documentation, assets, and inventory within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Works with maintenance coordinator/manager in ensuring PMs are complete and tracked in the systemCreate and improve predictive maintenanceMaintain inventory crib areas ensuring a good 5S conditionUnderstand basic function and use of tools & parts in inventoryFamiliar with and comfortable around machinery & toolsGood computer skills and a technical background – proficient with Excel; able to run reports and interpret dataResponsible for ordering necessary parts & tools including completing ringisho approval request formIssuing and assigning purchase requisitionsInvestigate and report metrics on departments performance, and equipment cost of ownershipSafely operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, as neededInventory/ordering tools for shop toolboxesUpdating FMDS boardObtain quotesComplete any necessary reports to demonstrate maintenance department performanceSupport with maintenance helper’s duties when helper is absentOther duties as necessaryQualifications
Education
High school diploma or a G.E.D certificateMultiple years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience an assetMMP Certification, Bachelor’s degree, or diploma in relative field would be an assetExperience
2-4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience considered an asset1-3 years of technical experience considered an assetSkills and Abilities
