Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Unit

Location: Tillsonburg

Join Rural Roads Health Services as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Medical Surgical Department at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Focus on patient care and assessments in a dedicated team environment.

This temporary full-time role lasts until March 31, 2027, or as determined by RRHS. Candidates should have a valid Registered Practical Nurse certification and B.L.S. certification, ideally with recent nursing experience. You will work full-time, including weekends and holidays, ensuring high-quality patient care at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions thoroughly

• Administer medications according to healthcare standards

• Foster effective communication with patients and healthcare teams

• Manage multiple patient care priorities efficiently

• Document patient care using electronic health records

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Practical Nurse certification from Ontario

• Current B.L.S. certification required

• One year of nursing experience is preferred

• Completed Medication Administration course necessary

• Skilled in both independent and cooperative nursing work
