Clinical Leader - Emergency Services

Location: Ingersoll

Lead emergency services at Rural Roads Health Services as a Clinical Leader at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll. Drive coordination and facilitate exemplary patient services and nursing excellence.

In this senior role, you will coordinate patient care services hospital-wide, promote teamwork, and model critical thinking in everyday tasks. Responsibilities also include delegation and staffing during shifts, ensuring effective communication across teams, and supervising patient admissions and discharges as bed capacity dictates. A commitment to best practices in nursing and patient relations will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee patient service coordination across departments

• Model accountability and evidence-based practices

• Manage staffing and delegation effectively

• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and patient transfers

• Provide assistance with clinical nursing needs

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Nurse in Ontario

• Minimum 1 year in Emergency or Critical Care

• 3 years acute care nursing experience required

• Leadership experience or courses preferred

• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and I.V. insertion mandatory
