Position: Registered Nurse for Critical Care Unit
Location: Tillsonburg

Be part of a dedicated healthcare team at Rural Roads Health Services as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. This role demands both skill and empathy.

You will join a specialized team providing care in the ICCU, focusing on patients with life-threatening conditions. Your expertise will be critical in supporting patient recovery after surgeries or significant health crises. This position is a temporary agreement expected to run until October 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer assigned nursing care to critically ill patients

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care plans

• Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy standards

• Monitor and assess patient responses and progress

• Participate in emergencies with competence and calm

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Critical Care

• Successful completion of a Critical Care Course preferred

• Valid certification in B.L.S. and A.C.L.S.

• Ability to foster a supportive team environment
