Care Communities is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse in Tillsonburg to support our new long-term care home. Join us to provide high-quality nursing and personal care to residents.
This full-time position involves collaborating with a compassionate team while reporting to the Director of Care.
Your role will include helping residents with daily routines, observing their health, implementing care plans, and engaging in quality assurance activities. Contribute your skills in a positive environment focused on well-being and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and meals
• Conduct regular health observations and report to RN
• Administer medications as directed by the healthcare team
• Collaborate in developing and refining individualized care plans
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents
Requirements:
• Valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in Long-Term Care advantageous
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Dedication to continuous learning and competency improvement
