Voyago is hiring a PART-TIME Driver for our Para Transit Division
Your Role
You are responsible for delivering exceptional door to door service for passengers who are not able to take traditional city transit servicesYou are required to provide proactive assistance to passengers in boarding vehicles, maneuvering wheelchairs, securing belts, lifting portable assistive devices, and offering necessary aid throughout the journeyAdditionally, providing superior customer service to all passengers and assisting with information on fares, schedules, and stops is a crucial aspect of this roleYou are responsible for performing basic vehicle inspection to ensure the vehicle is in good working order at the start of your shiftHourly Rate: $ per hour
Requirements
Your Profile:
You are a safe driver with a clean driving recordYou can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screeningYou hold a valid Ontario G class license and are open to upgrading to an F class license. Voyago provides all required on-road and in-class training to support this upgrade (preference will be given to candidates who already hold an upgraded license).You are comfortable upgrading your licence to a class FYou have excellent customer service skillsYou are comfortable working around any type of service animalYou have a sound knowledge of the city of WoodstockYou are comfortable with a fast paced physically demanding job (pushing wheelchairs with a maximum of 250lbs. Twisting, pulling, getting low to the ground to secure the wheelchairs)You have flexible availability to work shifts (2:45PM to 10:00PM) two to three days per week, and every other Saturday.Your
