Become a crucial part of Canada Post as a temporary Letter Carrier in Ingersoll, Ontario. Engage in active outdoor work while delivering essential mail and parcels to your community.
This on-call role as a delivery agent requires you to enjoy outdoor activities year-round and pride yourself on serving fellow Canadians. You’ll work from the depot, sorting deliveries before embarking on your daily route to bring mail and packages to customers. Your involvement directly supports Canada Post's mission to deliver billions of items to Canadians every year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot
• Load and drive a Canada Post vehicle
• Deliver mail and packages on foot or by vehicle
• Return to depot to unload incoming mail
• Foster a positive delivery experience for customers
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence
• At least 3 years of safe driving record
• Physical ability to lift up to 22.7 kg regularly
• Capacity to work in all weather conditions
• Fluent in English and/or French
