Geography Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary cover from January 2026, no planning required

Duties as Geography Teacher:
Deliver engaging Geography lessons using pre-prepared plans
Ensure pupils remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Support pupils with queries and encourage participation in learning activities
Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff
Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Ideal Geography Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Strong subject knowledge in Geography across Key Stages
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Previous experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting is desirable
