Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
Qualifications Education- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) – Required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program – Required
- In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience – Required
- No experience required – Required
- In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience – Required
- BCLS – Basic Life Support – Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization – Required
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT – Required
