This Position:
As a Probate Paralegal, you will help families by overseeing the Probate Experience, preparing petitions, and explaining the process. We are interested in Paralegals who have a Paralegal certification (comparable work experience considered). This person should have Georgia Probate knowledge/experience.
- Own and manage the Probate experience, overseeing all cases and ensuring client needs and all Probate deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents and petitions, ensuring appropriate types are created and documents meet required deadlines.
- Serve as the point of contact for basic client questions that do not require an attorney.
- Handle a heavy case load (40+).
- Perform other tasks as needed.
- Georgia Probate knowledge required
- Experience with discovery, litigation, mediation, and trial prep required
- Flexibility and the ability to multitask
- Strong drafting and writing skills, including great attention to detail and proofreading
- Excellent communication skills, including using an appropriate tone and professionalism when engaging with clients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- A self‑starter with a positive attitude, resilient emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and good judgment
- Attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
$60,000 yearly base + incentives.
