Assistant Manager I – Dollar Tree Stores

We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

• Assist with day‑to‑day store activities and opening/closing procedures.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store‑front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits).
• Maintain a well‑stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store cash and secure company assets.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure all associates follow company policies.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Exceptional customer service, organization, and decision‑making skills required.
