Responsibilities
  • Maintain Coach’s Service and Selling Models and create a positive first impression.
  • Build ongoing customer relationships through personalized service and leave a lasting impression.
  • Understand and support organizational objectives that align with company priorities.
  • Take ownership of personal metrics and create clienteling strategies in partnership with management.
  • Develop short‑ and long‑term strategies to achieve personal sales and performance goals.
  • Analyze personal survey results and create plans to improve and overcome areas of opportunity.
  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrate Coach’s selling and service expectations at all times.
  • Understand local market changes and support the execution of local sales strategies and tactics.
  • Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining productive relationships.
  • Create positive impressions with customers by presenting best self and attire consistent with Coach’s Guide to Style.
  • Build credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor and communicate fashion awareness and a strong knowledge of competition.
  • Provide in‑depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, current offerings, and overall product value.
  • Communicate current pricing and promotional strategy to customers.
  • Discuss product features and build the sale by leveraging cross‑selling skills.
  • Cross‑sell and encourage beneficial product add‑ons that relate to the customer’s shopping needs.
  • Read customer cues and tailor approach to their unique needs.
  • Work with multiple customers simultaneously and separate from tasks as needed.
  • Follow up with customers consistently and genuinely to influence/close the sale.
  • Flex personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store financial results.
  • Build lasting and loyal relationships with customers.
  • Leverage Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.
  • Create enthusiasm and positivity for a shared vision and mission.
  • Promote and endorse a team selling environment.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork, trust, and collaboration with internal and external customers.
  • Remain solution oriented; be adaptable and flexible to changing business and store needs.
  • Welcome feedback and adapt behaviors as appropriate.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
Operations
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards.
  • Complete daily operational tasks including maintaining the store (sales floor and backroom), cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards consistently and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy selling floor at all times.
  • Adhere to all applicable retail policies and procedures including POS, operations, and asset protection.
  • Replenish inventory on sales floor as needed.
  • Support the store inventory process, processing shipments, stocking shelves, and replenishing sales floor while maintaining strong organizational standards.
  • Support cash‑wrap when needed to process purchases, returns, and exchanges.
  • Efficiently process customer transactions (purchase, return, exchange, found order, etc.).
  • Effectively prepare the store by organizing functional areas, performing routine cleaning, and maintaining visual merchandising expectations.
