Accounting Supervisor

An established energy and manufacturing organization is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee plant accounting activities and support monthly financial close, reporting, budgeting and compliance. The role is based onsite in Woodward, Oklahoma
, reports to the Accounting Manager and provides supervision to accounting staff.

• Prepare product-costing journal entries and support the monthly financial close.
• Prepare and analyze month-end financial statements and key performance reports.
• Complete property tax reporting and payments.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation and compliance requirements.
• Manage reporting related to natural gas, electricity and catalyst usage.
• Track capital projects and related financial activity.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly financial updates.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
• Collaborate with operational and other corporate departments.
• Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff, including Accountant and Senior Accountant positions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a plant or manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience

• Strong understanding of financial close, reporting and accounting processes.
• Experience with budgeting, audits, capital projects and financial analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
