Shift: M-F On-Site 9/80 Shift (26 three-day weekends per year)

Job OverviewThis role is on-site at one of the major manufacturing facilities for a large chemical manufacturing company that is a pioneer in the agricultural industry. It supports both site-level and company-wide procurement initiatives. We’re seeking a strategic and operational procurement leader to drive sourcing strategies, optimize supplier relationships, and support capital projects and turnaround planning. The ideal candidate will bring deep procurement expertise, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a proactive mindset to improve cost, reliability, and compliance across the supply base.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or engineering
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills
- Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, and procurement systems
- Experience managing proposals, developing proposal recommendations, negotiating and awarding the final contract and creating and executing supplier transition plans.
- Procurement or supply management certification
- Develop and execute procurement strategies at site, regional, and global levels aligned with business goals.
- Ensure compliance and process optimization across procurement, supplier management, risk management, and procure-to-pay activities.
- Engage stakeholders proactively to integrate procurement into planning, budgeting, and category management.
- Support capital projects and turnarounds through early involvement, contracting, and execution oversight.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
, driving innovation, alignment, and continuous improvement with KPIs. - Lead sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, contract awards, and supplier transitions.
- Optimize inventory and material control
, minimizing stockouts, reducing obsolete materials, and ensuring efficiency. - Coach and develop procurement team members while promoting compliance, risk mitigation, and “One Company” philosophy.
