** we are currently looking for talented licensed practical nurse to join our mental health residential facility located in woodward oklahoma.*
* ** position summary
** responsible for providing direct and indirect professional nursing services in a variety of healthcare settings. Duties include conducting nursing assessments; developing and implementing care plans; providing nursing interventions and evaluations; delivering health-related education; coordinating case management; and carrying out medical regimens, including administering medications and treatments prescribed by individuals authorized to prescribe under state law.
** key responsibilities
*** perform direct and indirect nursing services, including obtaining and documenting patients’ temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
* administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician or authorized healthcare provider orders and applicable policies and regulations.
* perform a variety of technical nursing tasks to support the health and well-being of patients.
* monitor patients’ conditions and communicate significant changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* direct and coordinate the activities of direct-care staff on the assigned unit.
* prepare, organize, and distribute medications on the unit in accordance with established medication administration procedures.
* provide patient education and support regarding health, medications, treatments, and care plans.
* maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and records.
* follow established infection-control, safety, and patient-care standards.
