Special Education Teacher – K-2nd Grade – $70 to $75 per hour

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for our K-2nd grade separate program. This is a contract position starting ASAP and ending at the end of the school year. Unlock the potential of young learners with us!

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for K-2 students.
• Provide specialized instruction in literacy, math, and social skills.
• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance educational experiences.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding their children's growth and strategies for support.

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state certification in Special Education (MA or RI).
• Experience working with K-2 students with special needs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and adaptive learning experiences.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

1099 Position – $70 to $75 per hour.

Contract – Entry level.
