• Active Rhode Island Teacher Assistant (TA) Certification OR CNA credential with previous school-based experience
• Previous experience supporting children in educational or school settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and patience in daily interactions
• Flexibility and dependability for a consistent 32-hour weekly schedule

• Support the instructional and personal needs of students in classrooms, under direction of teachers and staff
• Assist with instructional tasks, behavior management, and supervision of students
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment
• Adapt and implement teacher-directed lessons and activities for students individual needs
• Provide one-on-one or small group academic and behavioral support as required
• Monitor student engagement during activities and transitions
